For best results, install with two screws into two wood studs. For stability and resonance control, the backplate and frame assembly must be mounted to wall studs, masonry, brick/concrete, thick wood paneling, or other strong wall surfaces. Note: For drywall mounting, the shelf is rated up to 40 lb. installed with a minimum of two supplied screws into wood studs plus at least two additional drywall anchors, also supplied.
